My name is Dwayne Peterson I live in Arizona with my wife Judy and the boss a shitzu dog named Bogie.  I started carving gourds a couple years ago when I found out about gourds at a gourd farm
           close to my home in Eloy.  I bought a couple books and did a lot of experimenting and it whent on from there. I also carve ostrich eggs and chicken eggs.  There is a ostrich farm just down the road and
           I eat a lot of omelets to get the chicken egg shell. You will see I use a lot of beads, inlace, turquoise ,copper and gem stones. I do not paint any of my work I use a ink dye to stain the gourd but that is it.
           All the clay work like the hands and figures in the gourds I sculpt with polymer clay.  I also have just started drawing with pencil I really enjoy this also as in all art the more you do the better you get.
